Angel and Patricia have lived in Kilometer 30 for about three years. Previously, they had rented downtown where Angel had a factory job. The factory let him go, so they applied for land and moved to Kilometer 30. They lived in a car on their property for some time and, as they could afford building materials, they assembled a shack. It has always leaked dirt and water badly. They decided the problem with the leaking was that the roof was too low, so they took it off to raise it higher. While it was apart, someone stole the main support beam. Most of their possessions have been ruined by the weather. They look for other places to find shelter during the rainy and windy times for the sake of their son, Angel. This is the poorest constructed pallet shack we have seen for quite a long time.
