Dear friends,
 
Delia is a single mom. She was born and lived most of her life in Chappus in Southern Mexico. It is impossible for women to get work there. Her daughter-in-law moved to Juarez about three years ago and quickly let her know that women and children could have jobs there and provide for their families. Delia moved to Juarez and into her daughter-in-law's pallet home. Delia and Edwardo, (17 years old) work in a factory making car seats. Rosenda, (19 years old) is planning to go to college and is in preparation school. Luis Antonio, (13 years old) is in secondary school. Delia is working to provide an education for her family. Her daughter-in-law moved into one of our new homes earlier this year, and Delia and her family have been living in the original pallet house. Their house is being torn down (background of photo) to make space for their new home.
