Dear friends,

Felix and Joana have lived with his dad until five years ago. About that time, his dad bought a piece of land for his two daughters and Felix so they start their own homes. Felix works in the concrete business, and they have built the three houses mainly of plywood that was discarded after making concrete walls for Felix's employer. Most of the plywood is in very poor condition. Their little shack leaks badly, and it’s the middle of the monsoon season here in Juarez. They have a very nice shade tree that may partially have to come down so their new home can be built. Joana is a stay at home mom raising the children.
