Houses Dedicated
Francisco and Estella

Dear Friends,

Last year, Francisco moved his family out to Kilometer 30. They thought they were buying a piece of land from a “regular guy”, but he turned out to be a bandito. When they went to register the land in their name, they found out about him. They moved to another abandoned piece of land in Kilometer 30, and went to the government office to inquire about it with their documents and receipts in hand.  The government gave them the papers on the land. Francisco Sr. is a mason and works with cement blocks. Carlos is doing well in school, but Francisco Jr. has Downs Syndrome and has been struggling to pass first grade for a few years now. They share their new property with Estella’s mom and shift from shack to shack to house depending on the climate.

Blessings,
