Houses Dedicated
Lorenzo and Letisha

Dear friends,

Lorenzo and his wife Letisha have lived in downtown Juarez a long time, always renting. At their age, they always have trouble finding steady work. Lorenzo can still lay a few concrete blocks if they will let him. Letisha was fired at age 51 for a younger worker. They moved to Kilometer 30 about two years ago. One of their sons no longer wanted his children, Evelyn and Jonathan, and left them with Lorenzo and Letisha to raise some years ago. They were borrowing a bus to live in until recently when it was suddenly towed away. They share the land with their daughter Guadalupe, who owns the land. They built a pallet house on the back of Guadalupe's house to live in until their new home can be built in a few weeks. The new home will be a huge blessing for these struggling grandparents.

Blessings,
