Dear friends,
Lorenzo, 53 years old, and Seferano moved to Kilometer 30 with their extended family about six years ago. They share two lots with her four older daughters and their families. Seferano and Lorenzo have 16 grandchildren and two more on the way. All the families live in pallet houses, and they wanted their parents to receive the first new home. Ivan is the son of one of Seferano's daughters, but the parents have raised him since birth. Last year, due to a train accident, Ivan's back was fractured. He was missing for over two months after the accident, and was only found when his family took out an ad in the local newspaper. He was in a juvenile hall, and when one of the employees read about him in the paper, he was reunited with his family. Manuel works in a factory building TV sets. Lorenzo gets whatever jobs he can, as he has a bad leg. The families have had very difficult winters and many have been sick multiple times. Their new home will begin a hope of better times for this large family. Multiple houses may be built for this extended family over the next few years.
Blessings,
All of us at Missions Ministries
