Houses Dedicated
Pedro and Paula

Dear friends,

Pedro and Paula had lived with their family in rainy Oaxaca Mexico for many years. There are few jobs available there, and as a general screening process, company's typically only interview potential employees that have completed secondary school or have some college education. Paula, over the years, was mainly able to get jobs washing clothes. They left their little pallet home there and gave it to her brother. They moved in with a friend in Juarez until they could buy a little land in Kilometer 30. Paula has just completed the enrollment qualification for higher education for adults in Juarez and wants to be able to help support the family well. Pedro has a job repairing heavy machinery for road grading, and had been in bed for three days with severe pain in his knee when this interview was done.  Jeff and Jenny returned with medicine and knee pads and he was out the door for work in thirty minutes.

Pedro and Paula are committed to secondary school education and providing for their family.

Blessings,
