"After serving for 25 years as a national leader with Campus Crusade for Christ my wife Judy and I were called away from what we thought was our life mission. God had firmly impressed upon me that He was calling me to a new place and a new people. I now understand Missions Ministries was the place and the Mexican people are the ones. We are grateful to our friends Ed and Carol Bullis as they laid the foundation of miracles upon which we now have the privilege of building.
A number of years ago Judy and I had a conversation about what country we would prefer should God call us away from the city ministry of Campus Crusade in the US. The country was Central and South America. Over the years I had followed the progress of Missions Ministries and observed what an effective ministry they had to their ministry objective, the people of Juarez. I was also impressed with the incredible service they provided to the Body of Christ as they allowed regular guys like me and entire families to participate in world missions. And over the years I recommended the ministry to many.
Dr. Bill Bright taught me to be a world Christian. I want to see the world changed as His "Great Commission" is carried out and I can see that Missions Ministries has become a catalyst for reaching the world and sending men and women to the world. As I heard the testimonies of Leo, Pastor Jesus, Pastor Martin, Jesus and others I could see thousands of homes built, the desperate needs of the Mexican people met, churches planted, pastors and leaders trained and equipped for the work of the ministry, a flood of repentance, forgiveness and empowerment for the Mexican believers and the city of Juarez turned upside down.
Why not? That is God's business, transformed lives and transformed communities."

"What began as short-term mission trips with family, eventually led me to an opportunity to serve and bless brothers and sisters in Christ. My experience as a homebuilder, ability to speak Spanish and desire to use those skills to serve those less fortunate, led me to Missions Ministries. I currently work full time leading teams from around the country into Juarez. I travel from Littleton, Colorado to Juarez around twenty five times a year and on occasion my wife and children join me."

"In the fall of 1990 a small group of Elders and staff members from Cherry Hills Community Church travelled to Mexico to construct a house for a poor family in Tijuana. The local church hosted our group for dinner and during the evening I overheard the pastor and one of our team members discussing a medical problem with a little girl in the congregation. In curiosity I asked what the child needed (thinking we could pass the hat and collect funds enough to help) and I was told she needed some medications. I inquired about how much money might be needed and the pastor indicated it would be about ten dollars. Amazed at the amount, I reached in my pocket and gave the money to the pastor. After returning to Denver I received a note from the missions organization with whom we had worked and the note closed by saying thanks for the donation for the girl, he said it probably saved her life. What impressed me the most was how little it can take to make a difference. That moment lit a spark in my life and somehow, even then I knew I would one day want to take a step of faith in missions work. Ed Bullis, founder of Missions Ministries knew how this event affected me and began persistently urging me to join his organization. I finally joined Missions Ministries in 1998 and worked until 2003 when I left to join another mission organization. But, now I've "come home" and look forward to working in Juarez, MX with the friends I made among the people there."
