The Mexican People

We have the privilege of partnering with evangelical Mexican pastors of small churches in Juarez. Their ministry focuses on the colonias of outer Juarez, where many have migrated in search of work at the maquilas, factories built by international companies to take advantage of cheap labor, and the Tarahumara Indians. Devaluation of the peso, and disproportionate ratios of people to jobs makes survival difficult. There is no government assistance. Many live in houses made of wooden pallets and cardboard. Many communities have no water or plumbing. Yet, the people are warm, welcoming, faith-filled - valuing relationships with their families, friends and the missions teams.
