Sample Trips

Trips run Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday. Driving teams need to arrive at the Quality Inn in El Paso by 5:30 PM on the first day (Wednesday or Sunday); allow for breakfast, lunch and break stops in order to still arrive by 5:30 PM. Flying teams will be picked up at the El Paso airport baggage claim area and taken to get water. Teams then have dinner at a restaurant in El Paso that first day; this dinner will be at the team's expense. That evening, teams will be taken to the Missions Center. The first evening is spent settling in, visiting with each other and taking part in recreational activities.

On the first day devotions (for all team members) are at 6:30 AM, followed by a wonderful breakfast at the Missions Center prepared by our professional chef. The Missions Ministries bus picks up at the MIssions Center and takes the team to the work site. Teams work into the afternoon; lunch is provided at the Missions Center. Buses return team to the Missions Center after the work day is complete; dinner is served.

The second day is similar; the project is usually completed in the early afternoon. It's a touching moment when you pray for the family and give them the keys to their new home. The team will attend an evening service at a Mexican church, always a highlight of the trip.

You will always be back across the border by noon on the third day or you may leave immediately after 6:30 AM devotions.
