Missions Ministries -- adventures in faith & service

SAS | Sponsor a Student

Melissa Cristal Lozoya Moreno is 10 years old and entering into fifth grade. Melissa lives with her mom and dad and has two younger sisters. Melissa's dad works in a mechanic garage and her mom works as a cook at the Missions Ministries team center. Her dream is to continue studying so that one day she can become a teacher and help other kids pursue their dreams. Her family cannot afford to pay for her school inscription fees nor any school supplies that she needs. If she cannot get her education sponsored, she won’t be able to attend school this year. The Missions Ministries SAS program is looking for someone to sponsor Melissa's education.
Will that be you?

“Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family.”
– Kofi Anan

The SAS program aims to provide educational opportunities to children in the poorest of poor colonias of Juarez, Mexico. Without a sponsor, these children will not be able to attend school and receive an education. There is a great need and we are responding. Come join us!

School sponsorship covers the enrollment fee, uniforms, school supplies, and library support for each child for one year. Once you sponsor a child you are guaranteed sponsorship of that student each year as long as you wish to remain the sponsor.

As a child sponsor, you will be transforming the life of a child by giving them the opportunity to pursue and realize their dreams. Sponsorship is a one-to-one relationship between you and a special child that will change their future and will change your life as well.

Sponsor a child today. Give the gift of education.
